Out of this World!

Hello!  I have been on a birthday binged these past couple of weeks, so this week I was able to make a fun card.  I'm quite new to the card crafting but very eager to learn new techniques both with paper piecing and stamping.  I wish it was I had more in my budget to devote to my hobby but I invest as much as I can into it both time and money.   Currently, I am in love with inks and ink blending.  I really want to get more colors of ink as of right now I only have memento tuxedo black, color box jalapeño, and versifine embossing inks as far as dye/pigment inks are concerned :(.  As I mention in an earlier post of mine I have purchased some distress mini inks.  I am in love 😍.   It is so much fun to play with!   Although I do not currently have the ink blenders, they have been blending well with just make up blotches.   For this next card I used the colors I had to make a bright star-y backgrounds.  I had so much fun blending out the background.   It took quite a bit of time and rounds of color to get it the way I wanted because I'm soooo new to the technique.  The theme of this card is outer space love.  I was looking around at some blogs/challenges for this week and decided to combined  2 themes; Miss Kate Cuttables (love theme for February) and Scrappy Mom's out of this world theme.  I made my own wobble for the little boy astronaut; he is too cute!  Hope you enjoy this card!
