Out Door Fun

Hello Everyone!
These next two cards I will be showcasing today are outdoor scene cards using MFT and Mama Elephant stamps and dies.  I have been inspired by green grass and sunny skies lately, mainly because its been raining here in California.  Our drought is over with the numerous storms.  Because of the amount of precipitation the grass has been lush!  Green everywhere!  I'm ready for the sun though, which is why I created these cards.  :)

For my first card, I originally wanted to make/send a card to a friend of mine, who LOVES dogs, but I didn't get it in time to send out :(.  I used MFT Lucky Dog Stamp set for most of the images.  I needed a present but did not have one in my MFT stash, so I used Lawn Fawn's Cheery Christmas for the present.  The images were stamped with Simon Says Intense Black ink, which is Copic friendly as I decided to Copic color the images.  For the fence, I used an SVG file I found online to cut with my Cricut machine.  I used MFT Friends die (I distressed this with Worn Lipstick) and the sentiment came from the Lucky Dog Stamp set.  I die cut a grassy layer with the MFT grassy border die and distressed it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.  The bit of blue in the sky is Salty Ocean. I finished off the card with some Sparkly Clear Sequins and silver Stickles.

For my second card, I wanted to send a friend of mine some cute planner paper clips I made using some stamped images, so I figured i would make a card to send with it.  I really wanted to use Mama Elephant's Pix's Favorite and this seemed an opportune time.  I colored all the images on this card with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers which I stamped on Bristol Smooth paper.  I used MFT Grassy Hills Border die and distressed it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.  I then used Versifine Onyx Black to stamp/emboss some grass patches on the grass area to add more interest.  It looked really bare previous to me stamping them on.  The sun flowers came from MFT's Adorable Elephants.   I also used Mama Elephant's Hillside fence die, which was super intricate; the first one I die cut ripped when i was trying to get it off the die.  It took me a while to build my sentiment because I didn't have one I liked for the card in my stash.  I used Mama Elephant's Calli Letters to spell out "hello" and embossed a portion of a sentiment from MFT Beast Friend with rangers detail white on black card stock, which I then cut fishtail ends.  The sky is distressed with Salty Ocean.  for the final touches I added clear sequins with silver stickles.

Hope you like my cards... :)

Oh here are the cute paper clips I made for my friend...
