Lawn Fawn Favorite Holiday

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card for the coloring club challenge. I was inspired to take out my alcohol inks when I saw Tim Holtz’s live today. It’s amazing all the techniques that can be done using them. My background for this card is made using alcohol inks and yupo paper. It was fun getting inky. I then stamped images from Lawn Fawn’s Thankful Mice to copic color. I used a stiched circle die to die cut out of vellum paper. I stamped the sentiment onto orange cardstock and fussy cut it out.

I hope you like my card!

Mama Elphant Rainbow

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card for the coloring club challenge. The theme is rainbow. When I saw the theme all I could think about were rainbow colors and sky. I dug into my stamp stash and Mama Elephant carried away stood out to me. I thought about how I could do rainbow with balloons and right away clouds came into mind. I used Mama Elephant Eyelet Frames to cut a panel from Neenah Classic Creast in 80lb. I masked off the boarder with post it tape and used cloud stencil to ink blend. I used distress inks in the colors shaded lilac, salty ocean, twisted cotton, squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin. And candied apple. I then stamped my images and colored it with copic markers.

I hope you like my card!

Simon Says Stamp Water

Hello everyone! I am here with another coloring club challenge card. The theme is water. I immediately thought of a set I just purchased Rain or Shine from Simon Says Stamp. I started by die cutting from MFTs stitched rectangle die in the 3rd largest size. Then I stamped and colored the stamp images with copic markers. I then used post it note tape to block a portion of the stitched rectangle panel so that I could ink blend cement with distress ink in hickory smoke and lost shadow. I then used a cloud stencil to ink blend with distress ink in salvage petina. I also used a rain drop stencil to ink blend with distress ink in salty ocean. I kept the stencil on after I ink blended to spay some solar spray by Simon Hurley in golden hour to make the rain drops shimmery. I then clear embossed in white the sentiment on black cardstock. I die cut a few more of of the sentiment with black cardstock to layer it for some dimension.

Honey Bee Cherry Blossm

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card using some Honey Bee and Simon Says stamp products. I bought the cherry blossom lovely layers about a month ago and did not have an idea of what I wanted to do with it. I love cherry blossoms so when I saw this die set I had to have it. I just decided to pull it out and die cut; hope I’d find inspiration as I was working on it. I cut the dies out of Neenah color white because I was going to use my distress oxide to put some color on the die cuts. I used the distress oxide in colors spun sugar, picked raspberry, gathered twigs and shabby shutters. After inking my die cuts I decided to use Simon Says stamp friends die to cut out of 110lb cardstock 3 times to stack so it would create some dimension. I also used some gold cardstock for the last layer. I then took Neenah 80lb cardstock to ink blend using a gradient of pinks in distress oxide. I used the colors picked raspberry, kitch flamingo, and spun sugar. I then put some picked raspberry on an acrylic block with a little watch to create some splatter on the backgrounds. I hope you like my card.
