SSS Dragonfly

Hello everyone! I am here with a card I made while watching Amy R’s live on YouTube today. I wanted to see if I could follow along and recreate her card. I did not have all the supplies she used on her card but I found similar items in my stash that would work. I used Neenah dessert storm 80lb card stock in A2 size and stamped it with MFT Myriad Dot background with SSS older inks in Khaki. I then Neenah Classic Creast 80lb to ink blend with distress inks in color spun sugar, kitch flamingo, and picked raspberry. The I used SSS circles hoops 3-D embossing folder to emboss the ink blended panel. I then cut down the panel to 4 3/4 by 3 in. I die cut SSS lushed leaves out of 80lb Neenah classic creast. I splattered white and black water down acrylic paint onto the pannel. I then used Altenew Sulfer Cosmo’s sentiments on black cardstock with white heat embossing. I used SSS Etched dragon fly dies, I used shimmer paper for the wings and black cardstock for the body.

I hope you like the card I recreated!

Lawn Fawn Favorite Holiday

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card for the coloring club challenge. I was inspired to take out my alcohol inks when I saw Tim Holtz’s live today. It’s amazing all the techniques that can be done using them. My background for this card is made using alcohol inks and yupo paper. It was fun getting inky. I then stamped images from Lawn Fawn’s Thankful Mice to copic color. I used a stiched circle die to die cut out of vellum paper. I stamped the sentiment onto orange cardstock and fussy cut it out.

I hope you like my card!

Mama Elphant Rainbow

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card for the coloring club challenge. The theme is rainbow. When I saw the theme all I could think about were rainbow colors and sky. I dug into my stamp stash and Mama Elephant carried away stood out to me. I thought about how I could do rainbow with balloons and right away clouds came into mind. I used Mama Elephant Eyelet Frames to cut a panel from Neenah Classic Creast in 80lb. I masked off the boarder with post it tape and used cloud stencil to ink blend. I used distress inks in the colors shaded lilac, salty ocean, twisted cotton, squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin. And candied apple. I then stamped my images and colored it with copic markers.

I hope you like my card!

MFT Monocromatic

Hello everyone! I am here with another coloring club challenge. The theme was Monocrhromatic. I totally missed doing this one a few days ago but thought I’d make up for it. I used My Favorite Things Up In the Air stamps set. I stamped my images onto a panel of 80lb Neenah classic crest. I then masked the images so that I could stencil my clouds onto the background; I used distress ink in lost shadow to ink blend. I took offf the mask for the images and copic colored my images in cool grays.

I hope you like my card!

Simon Says Stamp Water

Hello everyone! I am here with another coloring club challenge card. The theme is water. I immediately thought of a set I just purchased Rain or Shine from Simon Says Stamp. I started by die cutting from MFTs stitched rectangle die in the 3rd largest size. Then I stamped and colored the stamp images with copic markers. I then used post it note tape to block a portion of the stitched rectangle panel so that I could ink blend cement with distress ink in hickory smoke and lost shadow. I then used a cloud stencil to ink blend with distress ink in salvage petina. I also used a rain drop stencil to ink blend with distress ink in salty ocean. I kept the stencil on after I ink blended to spay some solar spray by Simon Hurley in golden hour to make the rain drops shimmery. I then clear embossed in white the sentiment on black cardstock. I die cut a few more of of the sentiment with black cardstock to layer it for some dimension.

I hope you like my card!

MFT Once Upon a Time

Hello everyone! I am here with another card for a color challenge sponsored by Alberto Gava who is the master of coloring. This color challenge is called Once Upon a Time. I immediately thought of my MFT stash when I heard the theme. I used BB Magical Unicorn and BB Magical Dragon to create a storybook scene. I used my copic markers to color the images. The base was cut from Neenah solar white 80lb with MFT’s stitched rectangle dies in the second largest size. I ink blended clouds with Salvage Petina distress ink. I then cut another piece with light green cardstock and used a grassy boarder die which I used Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness distress ink to ink blend. I hope you like my card!
