SSS Hello Daisy

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card using various Simon Says Stamp items. I channeled my inner mixed media style. I got a little inky with oxide inks on this card. I then sprayed distress sprite in the color salvage patina. I also used sheer shimmer spray to add more sparkle. I then used SSS good reading background stamp to stamp randomly on the inky background. After which I used an MFT stencil and randomly used distress paste on my inky background. I set the background aside to dry while I die cut from 80lb Neenah classic creast SSS charming daisy. I cut it out twice so that I could have 2 daisies. I used my altenew tacky matt to place the die cut on so that I could ink blend with distress ink in the colors rustic wilderness, twisted citron, mustard seed, and pumice stone. MFT Challenge SC03

Hello everyone! I am here with another MFT sketch challenge.

I had a hard time concept utilizing this one because I was stuck on the circles. I even brought my circle does out to try to make it work but my images were too big for the size circle that would fit for the sketch. I had to ditch the idea of circles and get the main idea of the sketch which was three images in a row. I flipped it from a verticle layout to a horizontal layout which worked better for my succulents. I used MFT sweet succulents for my images and copic colored them. I googled succulents for colors and I loved how there are purple hues to some of the plants. I did my best to find copic colors to match and blend with the greens in succulents. I then used a scape piece of typo paper so that I could create an alcohol ink panel. I used ranger alcohol inks to do this with some metallic mixative. I hope you like my card.

MFT: Sudsational

Hello everyone! It has been awhile since my last post. I want to get back into posting the cards I make. Today I have a card for MFT (My Favorite Things Stamp) challenge. It is a color challenge using that colors:

Color challenges are difficult for me; I don’t think in colors. I rampaged through my stash of MFT stamps to see if I could visualize something. When I saw BB Bubble Over with Joy I imaged a scene where I could use these colors. I used my Gina Marie scalloped stitch rectangle die to die cut two pieces of 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock. One of the pieces I used MFT grassy boarder die to cut along the bottom piece of the rectangle. I then used distress inks in the colors Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to ink the grass area. On the second rectangle piece I used cloud stencil with distress ink in the color Tumble Glass. I then used a sun ray stencil with the distress color Mustard Seed. I stamped my images on 80lb Neenah solar white cardstock with MFT Extreme Black ink which is alcohol ink friendly. I used my copic markers to color my images. Fur: E44, E43, E41. Dress: BG15 BG13 BG 32. Bubbles: BG10 BG000 BG0000

I hope you like my card!
