MarkerPop Challenge #116

Hello everyone!
St. Patrick's day is right around the corner and MarkerPop themed their bi-weekly challenge Luck or anything St. Patrick's day related.  When I saw the the theme I wanted to do a rainbow/pot of gold themed card. I don't have any St. Patrick's stamps, so I thought of doing cut files with my Cricut.  I remembered I had  some files from Miss Kate Cuttables that Was in this theme.  If you haven't checked Miss Kate's Cuttables you should!  The site has a freebie everyday and they are cute files and reasonable prices.  I used a gold pot file and used a hat file from and owl cut file which had a Green hat.  I used an assortment of cardstock from different companies to cut the files.  I had to have something glittery, so I made the hat with green glitter cardstock.   I also used Lawn Fawn's puffy cloudy boarder to cut a few clouds out of white cardstock, which I added a sentiment from Amy R's stamps..  I think the best part and most fun to make was the rainbow with distress inks!  I had a lot of fun blending the bright colors.  I used candied apple, mustard seed, spice marmalade, twisted citron, mermaid lagoon, and wilted violet.  I divided the top of card into 6 sections one for each color I used.  I taped off one section at a time as I blended the background.  I hope you like what I have done.  Here is my card....
